
The Potawatomi Greenhouses have provided flowers and plants to the area for year round enjoyment since the 1920's. The addition of the Ella Morris and Muessel-Ellison Botanical conservatories were added in 1963 and 1967, respectively. They feature tropical plants and a social gathering spot for playgroups, weddings and events.
The Ella Morris Conservatory hosts a meeting room filled with tropicals and flowering plants. The Morris Conservatory contains large rubber trees, bamboo and citrus trees.
The Muessel-Ellison Conservatory features a waterfall surrounded by bougainvillea, bird of paradise, a coffee tree and many other exotic plants.
In 1973, the Arizona Desert Dome was completed. Many types of cacti and succulents give a feel of the arid southwest to visitors. The desert plant collection features Century plants and a large Monkey Puzzle tree.
